Seller Applications

Akuba only accepts serious verified sellers. That is why to become one, you must fill out an application form. Whilst an application is being processed, the seller is free to set up his profile and products in the dashboard. Once accepted, rejected or suspended, the seller will recieve a notification by email. Dashboard access is not tied to approval state, but public product/seller page visibility is.

Each step pairs a heading and description with a decorative 3D preview of the Equivox UI. Those previews are skipped in screen reader navigation and are not interactive for assistive technology—the text beside each preview is authoritative.

Become a Seller

The apply flow is a three-step form asking various information about your store, nothing sensitive. Some available information can prepopulate the form to improve UX. Step navigiation is permissive, full validation runs on submit and sends the seller back to the first step that fails.

Business Info captures category, operating model, product sourcing, and compliance attestations (food safety where relevant, photo ownership, marketplace rules). Documents requires at least one sample product image and accepts an optional logo. Files upload through signed URLs and block submit while any upload is still in flight.

Application Review

Admin Applications is a split inbox like Moderation: filterable list on the left, full application on the right. Tabs cover pending, approved, rejected, and withdrawn states, with search across applicant and business names.

Detail view surfaces contact info, business answers, compliance responses, and sample product images for vetting. Market assignment happens here before approval, but if left unassigned sellers can set it themselves. Products inherit the seller's market. Review ends with an optional note to the applicant, along with action buttons.

Application Status

The dashboard Application section is only available while a seller is pending or rejected. Approved sellers are routed away from it automatically.

Pending state shows a review-in-progress callout above a read-only copy of what was submitted, nudging sellers toward profile and catalog prep while they wait. Rejected state surfaces the admin review note when one was left, plus a path to re-apply. The section disappears once a seller is approved.
